God really spoke to my heart today. I was challenged by the thought that my life and my ministry need to be about Jesus. I know that sounds simple and obvious - until you stop and think about how much of self can get in the way!

How can we keep our feelings from running or ruining our lives?
I had an older preacher tell me once that our emotions are like a team of wild horses that wants to run in every direction. He said the key to not letting those “horses” control your life is to make sure that the reins are in the right hands!

It’s your choice!
I was reminded of that the other day when faced with some negative circumstances. I can choose to grumble and complain or I can choose to make the best of it. I don’t think we like to admit it but it is true; how we respond to any given situation is a matter of choice. Why do we struggle so much with choosing a good attitude in bad circumstances? I was sitting outside, as I’m sure many of you did the last few days, marveling at the beauty of God’s creation.
