One of the church planters whom The Compass supports passed away recently. He had gone to a remote area and started a church. Today we commissioned a young lady who has been asked to take over. She is 25 and full of faith. There are over a dozen new converts in that church and it is growing.
Here is a picture of the commissioning. Please pray for her.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers…
Our meetings in a certain country went very well. There were no interruptions. I have some amazing stories of supernatural proportions to share with you next weekend.

Waving to The Compass Church!

I began training in Katmandu today. Here is my class, including ten church planters that we support. All but one have already begun daughter churches! That means we have exceeded our goal of planting fifty churches in five years because nine have already spawned nine more!
Blessings,
Pastor Dale
Prayer request…
Please pray for three of us who are entering a country I cannot name to meet with a large group of “special people.” We just learned that such “opportunities” have been banned for the next several weeks. We will need cover and are relying on you for that!
Sunrise…

Here is a picture from sunrise this morning. Behind me are some of the famed Himalayas. Those peaks are around 23-24 thousand feet in height. I am reminded of Psalm 24.

Here are some pictures from the training sessions in Pokhara, the third largest city in Nepal.
Got milk?
Does God heal cows? I spoke today (via a translator) with a pastor who works with Tibetan Buddhists. They are very difficult to reach with the gospel, but God has His ways. A Tibetan family had a cow which stopped giving milk and began bleeding through the utters.
Made it!
Arrived in Pokhara, Nepal. I start training fifty church planters, leaders and pastors tomorrow. Check out the pictures. The little girl behind me kept rubbing my head until her mom made her stop. Did she think I was a Buddha? Speaking of Buddha, guess the name of my airline.
Blessings to you and thanks for funding fifty Christian leaders to receive training and encouragement!
Pastor Dale

On to Nepal…
I am in Bangkok on my way to Nepal where I will be training our church planting partners, as well as exploring some new opportunities in the tiny country of Bhutan. Please take some time this weekend to stop outside our “purple wall” and pray for all our mission partners. I will try to update you with information and pictures if there is Internet.
In my quiet time this morning, Psalm 23 was on my reading plan. All I needed was the opening verse:
Psalm 23:1-2 (NLT) The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.
Do you?
